On July 9th 2014, in Ha Noi, Deputy Minister Truong Chi Trung and Mr. Lee Duk - Hoon, President of Korea's Export-Import Bank signed 2 loan agreements of Korea Government.

According to that, 02 ODA loan agreements of Korea Government that worth $162 million were passed by through Korea's Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) for 02 projects "Building Hung Ha Bridge" worthing $117 million and "Developing Hanoi University of Pharmacy to become a national professional university meeting the standards of the area" worthing $45 million at an interest rate of 0,1%/year with a repayment period of 40 years (included 10 years of grace).

These are two specific agreements deployed from the framework agreement between Vietnam Government and Korea Government about the loans from EDCF in 2012-2015 period which were signed with $1,2 billion.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Truong Chi Trung and President of Korea's Export-Import Bank - Mr. Lee Duk - Hoon showed their trust in the 02 projects "Building Hung Ha Bridge" worthing $117 million and "Developing Hanoi University of Pharmacy to become a national professional university meeting the standards of the area" to be soon effectively implemented as the targets were set out.

Earlier, on behalf of Deputy Minister of Ministry of Finance, Truong Chi Trung, President Lee Duk - Hoon highly appreciated the support and cooperation of Korea's Export-Import Bank in particular and Korea Government in general. Mr. Trung also expressed his trust when the framework agreement between Vietnam Government and Korea Government about the loans from EDCF in 2012-2015 period will continue to be specific agreements to implement some significant infrastructure projects, partly developing economy - society of Vietnam and committed to well incorporate with involved Ministries and Departments for management and use this support source in a most effective way.
