The Ministry of Finance of Vietnam plans to cooperate with and support Laos's financial industry growth


Working with the Lao Ministry of Finance delegation, which is headed by Mr. Santiphab Phomvihane, the Minister of Finance of Laos, was the focus of a meeting that was convened by Minister Ho Duc Phoc on May 28 at the Ministry of Finance headquarters. Representatives from the two nations as well as Ms. Khamphao Eunthavanh, the Lao ambassador to Vietnam also attended the meeting.

Credit rating agency S&P Global Ratings is partnered with the Ministry of Finance


A team from S&P Global Ratings, a credit rating agency, was delegated by Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Duc Chi on May 21 to assess Vietnam's national credit rating for 2024.

Funding agreements of 72.3 million euros were granted by the Ministry of Finance – AFD


On March 15, at the Ministry of Finance's headquarters hosted the signing of agreements between the Ministry of Finance and the French Development Agency (AFD) to finance two projects: "Urban Development Project Central Coast towards green growth and climate change response Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province" and "Anti-Erosion Project and sustainable protection of the coast of Hoi An, Quang Nam province." The agreements have a combined value of 72.3 million Euro, or almost 80 million USD.

Re: Moody’s revises Viet Nam’s outlook to Positive, affirms Ba3 rating


On March 18th 2021, Moody’s Investors Service (Moody’s) revised Viet Nam’s Credit Rating outlook to Positive and affirmed its Ba3 rating.

Signing Ceremony of EDCF Loan Agreements


19 March 2015, Hanoi: Deputy Minister of Finance Mr. Truong Chi Trung on behalf of the Government of Vietnam and Deputy President of Korea Eximbank (KEXIM) Mr. Yin Seong Hyeog signed 2 Loan Agreements on “Thien Tan Water Supply Project Phase II: Supplementary Loan” and “Support Program to Respond to Climate Change for Fiscal Year 2014” with the total value of 25 million US dollars. Representatives of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environments and the People’s Council of Dong Nai Province also attended the ceremony.
